The foundation
A first App Store release built around the fundamentals: workout logging, sets, history, editing, templates, and the training data each session creates.
A living record of Athlete OS as it grows from a fast workout log into a clearer training system — shaped by real use, careful releases, and the details that help people keep going.
Athlete OS helps athletes plan their training, record what they actually did, understand progress, and adapt what comes next. It began as a focused workout tracker and now connects planning, logging, progression, history, reviews, and training signals in one offline-first product.
Athlete OS started as a focused workout tracker. Through 2026, it has grown into a broader training system for planning work, recording what happened, understanding progress, and deciding what to do next.
A first App Store release built around the fundamentals: workout logging, sets, history, editing, templates, and the training data each session creates.
Workout Insights, achievements, a richer dashboard, training frequency, duration, and muscle coverage moved Athlete OS beyond simply recording a workout.
Week navigation, Today’s Focus, Workout Planner, Quick Start, Weekly Review, progression, recovery concepts, and richer workout history connected the training lifecycle.
Personal Records, Exercise Queue, Carryover, Drop Sets, Supersets, Circuits, Exercise History, workout replay, and themes made the system more responsive to real training.
The point is not to collect logs. It is to help the next training decision become a little clearer.
Know what you are training.
Execute the workout.
Capture what actually happened.
See progress, PRs, patterns, and gaps.
Use the signal to make the next session better.
Build consistency over time.
The timeline combines shipped App Store milestones with the rollout notes that guide the next releases.
The planned Pro experience brings the full picture together: complete Dashboard and Training Insights, week-over-week comparisons, extended exercise history, Personal Records history, Today’s Focus, Muscle Match, and complete gap and plateau lists.
Cloud Sync is being prepared for signed-in athletes who want their workouts backed up and available wherever they train.
Theme selection adds a choice between the familiar Current dark blue theme and the new Warm neutral theme. This release also makes it easier to change your active team and turn a completed workout into another session or a reusable workout template.
Structured workout tools give you more flexibility without losing the details that make a session useful.
Drop Sets, Supersets, and Circuits are available to every AthleteOS user.
The planned Training Insights release will turn recent training history into practical signals. Athlete OS will highlight exercises that may have fallen out of your routine, exercises whose performance may have levelled off, and muscle groups whose broader training signal may have plateaued.
Every exercise gets a dedicated history screen so progress is easier to review and compare.
Muscle tracking and weekly progress sharing made it easier to understand what you had trained and share momentum with the people around you.
How we ship: Athlete OS is developed in focused rollouts. Each update starts with a product problem, moves through a small implementation slice, and gets a clear release note before it becomes part of the everyday training loop.
